About Me

I live in a great loft in SoHo with my golden retriever. I've been living in New York City since 1999. Up until recently, I had been working in event production for fashion and entertainment. Now I run a creative agency with my business partner. We offer consulting for branding, websites and special events for lifestyle brands. It's not much of a leap from what I was doing before but now it's my business that profits instead of someone else's. I love what we do and now we are really beginning to see the fruits of our labors. If you're not working for yourself and you want to. GO FOR IT!!

My Interests

I love travelling to new places and meeting interesting people. I have a great place and a dinner table that serves up to twenty-four people so entertaining is always great fun! I'm a creative so dreaming up new ideas and producing art is always at the top of my list. I love fine food whether I'm dining in or eating out. In California, I loved so many things that involved the outdoors. Now that I'm here in the city, my attention has turned towards business and making certain that I make room for fun in all that we do.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet Willie Nelson and take a ride down through Mexico with Richard Branson. Strange mix, I know but I'm sure by the week's end we'd figure out a way to turn that RV into a spaceship and make a detour to Mars singin' all of Willie greates hits!!

Music:

I grew up with Willie Nelson, Dolly Pardon, Johnny Cash and many other classic country singers. I never grow tired of them and listen to them often. I prefer to listen to compilations of new and old. I also like Nina Simone, Odyssey, Barbara Streisand, Charlie Parker, Sade, the Gipsy Kings, Chet Baker, Bjork, "The Girl From Ipanema" (whoever sang that) and so much more. SO MUCH MORE!! I LOVE MUSIC :o)

Movies:

I haven't seen anything that's knocked my socks off for quite some time. I'll have to come back to this one.

Television:

I love the "LOST" series and "24"!! I don't watch television otherwise.

Books:

"THE SHOEMAKER OF DREAMS" by Salvatore Ferragamo (inspirational autobiography), "ISHI" (about the LAST wild native american to be found in the USA), "BLACK ELK SPEAKS" by Black Elk (a true story and great insight into modern day shamanism -- great for those of us who have only been taught the ways of the church), and "GESUNDHEIT!" by Patch Adams (this book changed the way I think about the healing arts forever!!).

Heroes:

I don't have too many heroes but I admire Salvatore Ferragamo for his belief in himself and for never giving up. He went against all odds and hung onto his dreams to accomplish something truly remarkable. I also admire Patch Adams for his vision and commitment to free health care for all people.
