Hi. I'm Melissa. I write songs, sing, and play guitar, saxophone, clarinet and pennywhistle. And I do theater as much as I can!

I have just begun to play out on my own (like, sans band) and with my sweetie, Shawn. This is a fun new adventure. I have been writing music for many years and recording my own music for a few years. I sing and play my horns as front person for the world beat band !Akimbo from Davis and have been doing that since 1998. I also play experimental improvised music with a group called "dud" from the Bay Area.
