DOGSTOOTH

DOGSTOOTH 777 were formed in VINES BIOCRIN, an abandoned shampoo factory in Hackney 2002. Their stated mission is to keep music live and free and get you drinking and dancing. Favourite venues to do this are: The Ruskin Arms , Manor park (East Londons No.1 metal venue), The Lord Cecil in Clapton and The Hobgoblin, Holloway Rd. They have been rocking with the current line up since Jan 2003. Here's a brief biog. so you know a bit about the guys:
Jon is the DOGSTOOTH 777 songwriter and guitarist. A plagiarist by nature, his audacity at hijacking other artists styles and passing the results off as his own is almost excused by his skillful guitar playing, he has recently passed Fretwank Grade 6 and is now up to 17.6 notes/second (Broken Home) Worlds Fastest Steve Vai 20.2 (The Riddle). He rides a Yamaha Thundercat YZF 600 and reckons he has reached 161mph. He likes drag racing and has done the quarter mile at Santa pod in 11.7 seconds.
Mark is the solid bass player who holds it all together. He's worked hard for many years on the free festival scene giving many people the opportunity to experience free festivals like Stonehenge, without the commercial shit you get these days. He has crafted his distinctive bass sound into the DOGSTOOTH 777 genre, and has also made some classic psychedelic spacerock with NUKLI and trance with HEX PROJEKTA . He is currently using a 500Watt bass rig but wants to get something a bit louder.
Paul is the drummer who plays the fast beats between the fast beats. He has recorded at Abbey Rd. studios and played his first gig with DOGSTOOTH 777 on his 17th birthday. He likes Rammstein, AC/DC, strong weed, and real ale. Paul is developing his onstage MCing skills and is now singing lead vocals on Dumb Insolence. He also plays drums with HARMACY. He's got 3 drumkits and uses Zildjian cymbals. He recently celebrated the birth of his first child, a boy called Paul.
