Whether it be seen, heard, felt, smelt, or tasted, the goal of interpersonal communication remains the same; expression of ones ideas, thoughts, sentiments, and emotions; the appeal to anothers senses.Our chosen medium of expression--- MUSIC.Sound travels in waves and is measured in frequencies. Attached to those sound waves are our ideas, our thoughts, our sentiments, our emotions, as well as our hopes and dreams, our deepest fears and our darkest secrets. The OPTIMAL FREQUENCY occurs when those sound waves, enriched in human thought and emotion, reach out and grab you by the soul, forcing you to FEEL, beckoning you to MOVE.In the summer of 2005 (((OF))) was blessed with the opportunity to travel to New York City to work with long time heroes Shootyz Groove and their Lab Atomix production company on the debut (((OF))) album. The experience proved to be life altering for the members of the band, and the lessons and ideas instilled by producers Nelson Ramirez, jr. and Donny Radeljic have formed the band and their sound into a marketable commodity.Current members Kevin Eady, Christopher Medved, Woody Roberts and Jim Charnesky have plans to take Optimal Frequency as far as it will go, constantly striving to evolve the (((OF))) sound as well as their live aesthetic.
