Unos artistas trabajan por fama, por la musica; para otros, la musica trabaja por ellos. En un mundo lleno de tantas diversidades entran Sostre y Jenisis formando la mejor harmonia de dos talentos musicales. Esta doble triple amenaza (bailan cantan componen) representa un sonido que combina el pop, rock, hiphop, r&b, y reggaeton. Maestros de su propio arte (ingenieros arreglan vocales mezclan), Sostre & Jenisis estan reinventando la musica latina que una vez fue considerado monotono y estan rompiendo las barreras hasta el otro nivel.
Jenisis significa el principio, el origen. Representando la mujer en un mundo de hombre, Jenisis contribuye la calidad y el sonido que solo algunas femeninas pueden traer a este genero, una voz con una estoria. Cantando en tarima desde los 7 anos, Jenisis es conocida por sus impecables y poderosas presentaciones. Su carisma y amabilidad se siente cada vez que esta rodeada de gente. Con la combinacion de calle y elegancia , su voz es exactamente lo que el amante de la musica busca. Sin poder negar el deseo de estar envuelta en el arte, fue aceptada en escuela de Professional Performing Arts en Nueva York, entonces empezo a trabajar al frente de las camaras de MTV a los 14 anos de edad. Jenisis crecio en un mundo de hip hop, r&b, reggae y por supuesto reggaeton. Su influencia se extendio desde Hector Lavoe a Santana, Selena a Alicia Keys. Empezando su carrera grabando discos con ganadores grammy y ''featuring'' en grandes disqueras, Jenisis esta enfocada y preparada a llegar a las estrellas con La Harmonia de La Calle: Sostre y Jenisis.
Bendecido con las cuerdas vocales de su madre (cantante), la voz de Sostre se combina perfectamente con Jenisis. Un gran poeta, Sostre se encontraba escribiendo 5 canciones al dia en Puerto rico a la edad de 14 anos, recibiendo el nombre ''El Mas Ke Escribe'' como su anterior Eddie Dee. Un ano depues conocio a un productor/ingeniero en Yabucoa donde fue criado. Ahi comenzo sus primeras grabaciones. Sostre viajo a Nueva York en donde la musica lo persiguio y conocio nuevos productores cual lo ayudaron a mejorar su arte. Sostre continuadamente escribiendo canciones con melodias inolvidables, su pasatiempo se ha convertido nada mas y nada menos que una carrera artistica.
Riesgos y oportunidades es la vida. De ahi proviene su sonido. Este duo se ha combinado para derivar todas las puertas que la industria ha cerrado a los latinos. Sostre y Jenisis estan por grabar el video oficial 'SACALE EL JUGO.' Tambien se esta haciendo los ultimos arreglos del debut album 'HARMONY OF THE STREETS' y se encuentran grabando canciones para compilaciones y el proximo album. Sostre y Jenisis estan disponibles para shows yentrevistas internacionalmente.

Performing on stage since the age of 7, Jenisis is known for her graceful and powerful presentations. Her charisma and charm are felt everytime she steps into a room. With a mixture of street and class, Jenisis' voice and style is exactly what the music lover asks for. Not being able to deny her desire of being involved in the arts everyday, she was accepted into into the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City and began working in front of the cameras of MTV at age 14. She grew up in the world of hip hop, r&b, reggae, and of course reggaeton. Her influences span from Hector Lavoe to Santana, from Selena to Alicia Keys. Beginning her career recording with grammy winners and a feature appearance on a major label album, Jenisis is focused and ready to shoot for the stars as Harmony of the Streets: Sostre & Jenisis.
Blessed with the vocal chords of his singing mother, Sostre's vocals blend perfectly with those of Jenisis. A true poet, Sostre found himself writing 5 songs a day in Puerto Rico at the age of 14, receiving the nickame "The Most Who Writes." A year later, he met a young reggaeton producer/engineer in his hometown Yabucoa. Sostre ended up moving to New York where music followed him and met new producers which helped him perfect his craft. Continuously writing hit songs with unforgettable melodies, Sostre has turned his musical talents from a hobby into a serious career.
Sostre & Jenisis will be shooting the official music video in Puerto Rico for the hit single. They are also mixing their debut album 'HARMONY OF THE STREETS' and recording new songs for compilations and their following album. Sostre & Jenisis are available for shows and interviews worldwide.
