Broken December

Check out The Soviet Machines and Moonlit Mushroom

About Me

Their energetic sound and blissful melodies have earned them a spot as one of Minnesotas best live bands. Lead singer/guitarist Jack Swagger (17) formed the band in early 2005 with school friends. The band quickly had a set list filled with Swagger's originals. The bands 2005 highlights included playing at Grand Old Day in Minneapolis, and playing with local act Skywind (Currently on tour with Trapt). After a year, Drummer Jerry Sparkman and Bassist Mike Smith left the band. Swagger reformed the group with drummer Mike Scavio (Moonlit Mushroom). The two wrote several new songs together and recorded their first EP, "Keep Your Friends Close, Enemies Closer". After several midwest gigs, the band took a well deserved break in July 2006. In august, the band played their new EP along with some new compositions at the Garage in Burnville to a very eager crowd. With new shows and a possible full length album out soon, the band is hard at work preparing.
