Welcome to Moonlit Mushroom, a 2 person band with a destiny to bring the psychadelic sound with a hard edge to another brilliance. Moonlit Mushroom produces, records, mixes and self-promotes their own music to see how far 2 can go by putting 110% dedication into every song without being overly exposed to the world and being taken away from music potential itself, for example MTV, VH1, and overplaying on radio etc..The band formed early 2002 as Mitch Siefert and Mike Scavio who became good friends in Expulsion School. They both noticed each other's talent for music and after a long night of tall-tailed psychadelic events they became "Moonlit Mushroom". "The Musical Mushroom Experience" the first EP containing their first songs was recorded by Greg Miske in the summer of 2005 at Labyrinth Productions. The two went their seperate ways; Mitch went to Chicago to attend film school, while Mike started to attend Hennepin Technical College to successfully get his Associates Degree as a Audio Recording Specialist in 2006. With Siefert gone, Scavio started playing in a band with his buddy Jack Swagger called "Broken December" (another two piece band). After recording some tracks with Jack and playing shows around the Midwest, Scavio fell into a deep depression and stopped practicing and playing shows with Jack. Jack has since then started a new band, "The Soviet Machines", and they are doing GREAT! The next full length album Moonlit Mushroom has been working very hard on for the past 2 1/2 years "WHEN THE SKY TURNS GREEN" , The final release of this album is due SUMMER 2009.
