Jonny Scratch

Jonny Scratch is your typical suburban white kid, who all through high school educated himself on the history of Hip-Hop. He fell in love with the culture. He draws musical inspiration from Afrika Bambaataa, MF DOOM, Old Prince, Whodini, Doug E. Fresh, Newcleus, Cybotron, Erykah Badu, JJ Fad, and many others, as well as many music he grew up such as the Beatles, Harry Nillson, Talking Heads, and such acts. He typically has psychadellic, funkadelic jams that tell a story without lyrics. They all have a certain mood or many moods in one song, as well as a wide range of hip hop genres. Minimalist Def Jam to complicated sampling arrangements like De La Soul, or even simple party tunes like Salt and Pepa or 2 Live Crew. Under Buck Beautifuls direction he learned the importance of musical instruementation like a Rootsesque production.
