Myspace LayoutsSo Alisa says I have the honor of having THE WORST barf story ever. You Decide. It starts with FIVE DAYS without power (and for us that means no heat, no hot showers, nada) meanwhile, both the 2 and 4 year old come down with the flu, which I inevitably catch. Wake up at 2:30 AM to run through the 40 degree house to barf in the dark. No, that's not the best part. Go back to bed thinking, "Hell, what ELSE can go wrong?" Awake one hour later to heed the beckoning of the throne. As I run into the bathroom to throw up, I FAINT, and break my leg. Oh and then proceed to throw up after Mark's brings me around. I tell you, Paris Hilton eat your heart out...THIS is glamour ba-by!

blowing spun glass ornaments using Amish batik urns (Martha)

taking ALL DAY to make homemade bread (that shit is HARD

baking items from scratch when a perfectly good preservative laden version is readily available down the street at the local Safeway (see previous reference)

Now I have moved onto "guilty pleasure random 80's" comprised of a smattering of Joan Jett, Gap Band, Flock of Seagulls, and thanks to my friend Alisa...80's emo. I can always get my groove on to John Mayer, Jack Johnson, various cuban, and actually I am listening to soundtrack from "Bombay Dreams" Indian music after seeing the show with a friend of mine in Seattle this month. Incredible show!

Movies:

Swingers, Anchorman, Big Fish, Bring it On (how ELSE do I exorcise the desire to have been a high school cheerleader?), The Usual Suspects, Blazing Saddles, and my all time-guilty pleasure-can't believe I'm admitting it...FOOTLOOSE! Only after moving on to Mr. Kevin Bacon could I give up my life-long crush on Michael J. Fox. No joke.

Television:

I get to watch about one hour of TV a night (thank you Tivo!) Right now I'm following AR 10 (Amazing Race 10) Nip Tuck, Boston Legal, Heroes, Martha, Lost, Survivor (she said in a low hushed voice, looking over her shoulder to see if anyone heard her dark secret)

Books:

Come on now...how many people on myspace can read.

Heroes:

Okay yeah, Martha Stewart only because I now understand the lifestyle one must maintain to emulate said Martha...one of an unemployed/stay at home person
