Forming in the summer of 2006 with friends Tim Russert, Adam Pierson, Steven Schutter and Jeremy Hiniker from the small town of Truman,MN. All enjoying the same genres of music and all having wanting to be in a band started Call It A Night. Through a few name changes and experimenting with sounds, they came to be known as Taking The Last. Influenced by the greats such as Silverstein and Underoath and they began to create their own songs that they themselves could get thrilled about. With these influences they create a blend of hardcore/screamo and experimental music breaking the trend of punk bands in the local music scene. Though young, and some may say inexperienced, all members do their part exceptionally well. While gaining much positive feedback from local friends and concert-goers, Taking The Last is trying to find as many shows as possible and make a name for themselves.
