PROGRESS

Progress is no novice to music. For the past ten years he has been writing, performing, and recording. He shared the lead vocal role in a live Hip Hop band known as eLeMeN.O.P (The Element of Progression). Progress has collaborated with many producers such as Aaron B, Merlin, Proverbial, DJ Blak Magic, and Membrain. In January of 2006, eLeMeN.O.P independently released their first album. Because of the success of this album and cult following, Progress made the decision to leave his home base of Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Southern California to expand their network. Since then, Progress has not only been writing lyrics, but also producing music styles as diverse as the “electronic pioneers” Kraftwerk to Hip Hop sounds similar to Common and Talib Kweli. In addition to production, Progress, has a promising solo career as an emcee. Powerful delivery and positive content are but a few attributes he possesses in his music. Music with a message and a more personable purpose is catching the attention of hip-hop fans. The trend is changing and moving toward a time; a time of Progress.
