I like being outdoors, and love to travel. Strangers are great too; I like meeting strangers...especialy in airports (I spend a lot of time in airports these days). Strangers can sometimes offer some of the most interesting conversation.
I'm often asked why my "Top List" is comprised of profiles with organizations sharing a message rather than of individual people. I guess it is because I appreciate the work that is being done by so many people, in so many places, and believe that it could in fact better this world we have between us.Many of the friends in my profile are organizations I am affiliated with, while others are simply those that I believe have a worthy message that should be shared. Some are artist, others are activist. As far as who I'd like to meet...I guess a good "pen-pal". I travel a lot for work, and think having an old-fashion pen-pal would be great!
James Blunt, Linkin Park, Sister Hazel, Seven Mary Three, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Frey, Matchbox Twenty, Live, The Used, Incubus, Stabbing Westward, Disturbed...almost anything "Eighties" and even some Josh Groban, Norah Jones and Laura Pausini.
Russian Dolls (Great French Film!) and Spanish Apartment (its prequel); Pan's Labrynth, Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang; Legends of the Fall; Dead Poet's Society; Good Will Hunting; House of Flying Daggers; The Promise; Vision Quest; Swingers; American History X; Higher Learning; Fight Club; Big Fish; Hard CAndy, Half Nelson, Blow...I like films a lot~
I don't have cable, and have only 5 channels(4 when it rains)from a pair of "rabbit ears"...never really got into too much TV. I am a fan of Heros though!
The Alchemist, For One More Day, The World is Flat, I am Legend, World War Z, Life of Pi, Watership Down, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, I Know this Much is True, The Five People you Meet in Heaven, Queen of the Damned, Intensity, The Picture of Dorian Grey, Les Miserables (which is still my all-time favorite), Eleven Minutes...I have also gotten into a series of audio books entitled Modern Scholars
I have a few, and have been lucky enough to remain close (to some extent) with each of them...so, hopefully they know who they are...
