Hard to describe. Dark, yet bright, grungy folk-pop with a 'hook' or two.
In the winter of 2004, Jim & Ziggie crossed paths at a popular Work-For-The-Dole program called 'Music For You', and combined forces to work as a duo, writing and performing anywhere under the tenuous name 'Spoof'.
In early 2005, KanO joined and recommended a name change. Now as 'Slave', the trio worked for 6 months on writing and recording their first CD 'Self Mutilation'.
Originally as Spoof - acoustic/folk/pop/rock, Slave has now become electric, with more life experiences and soulful stories told through song.
A poof, a hippy and a demon locked in the Spare Room with an 8-track recorder has resulted in some new songs demo'd and enhanced with weed & incense.
Bio's suck. Listen to the songs, and make up your own mind.
