I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

"I'm your average, ordinary, kind of woman. Practical as salt, modest to a fault." I'm sarcastic but never bitchy, quick wit and usually funny, diverisfied yet simple, intelligent and dorky at the same time. Maybe the only one who doesn't care for hot chocolate and prefers diet coke riding shotgun all the time.

Writing, music, running my successful Fantasia Home Party business, now in its 6th year! Children, I love to challenge their wild imaginations! Photography and art. Travelling to places I've never been to and figuring out how to get home...its all part of the adventure! Meeting people, skiing, helping those less fortunate, comedy, plays, and movies. Finding the most perfect Tira Misu.
You Should Be a Romance Novelist
You see the world as it should be, and this goes double for all matters of the heart.
You can find the romance in any situation, and you would make a talented romance story writer...
And while you may be a traditional romantic, you're just as likely to be drawn to quirky or dark love stories.
As long as it deals with infatuation, heartbreak, and soulmates - you could write it. What Type of Writer Should You Be?
You Are a Licorice Jelly Bean
You are an acquired taste. The less people fight your strange ways, the more they like them. What Flavor Jelly Bean Are You?
Your Theme Song is Back in Black by AC/DC
"Back in black, I hit the sack,
I've been too long, I'm glad to be back"

Things sometimes get really crazy for you, and sometimes you have to get away from all the chaos.
But each time you stage your comeback, it's even better than the last! What's Your Theme Song?

Are Ya Ready For The Thing Called Love?

I have to blame this one on the music track at work. Yes, the old Bonnie Raitt song came on last night, always liked it, just haven't heard it in a while. It got me thinking, is it possible ...

Being a kid

Tomorrow is the big day. Its been on my mind all day. Tomorrow, I will be awarded a lifetime sales achievement award. And it does seem a little odd, to receive a lifetime achievement aw...

Sybil

One of my all time favorite made for TV movies is Sybil. Yes, we're going back to the seventies, as this movie hit the screen somewhere in 1976, starring Sally Field and Joanne Woodward. Art...

Recognition

I couldn't help but to overhear, its my nature, I'm losing my hearing, and I've got big ears-what a combination. A woman was describing her latest dining experience in a local restauran...

Migration of the "Shoe-bies"

I've gotta admit, geographically, I've got it pretty good. I can hop in my car and drive an hour and a half in any direction and hit a worthwhile destination.  If I go north, I'm in the Penn...

Wardrobe Malfunction

I've got Julia Roberts beat. Flashback to "Pretty Woman", I'm talking about that classic saftey pin in the boot. For the most part, my "business casual" garb is tasteful and acceptable for that 9-5 j...

Number of women in prison on the rise

Two things I'll admit to be true: I don't watch a whole lot of TV. It's rare that I'll know the weekly weather forecast, let alone news events. Yes, I live in my own comfortable bubble.  Therefor...

Please don't take me to a supermarket

I hate going to the supermarket. I am better known as the take-out queen. Within a ten mile radius, there are at least a dozen places to buy food. And they're all different genres of markets. Who woul...
