About Me

No longer playing, but still loving!!!
Cat Stevens

(he's so cute, I don't wanna take him down ;)
Hello there! I'm Heather and apparently I'm in my own
extended network --- which is a little odd --- but whatever. I like to write pretty much everything except for 2,000 word research papers (AAAARRGGGHH!!!) and music is one of my fortes --- piano-fortes that is. haha that was a joke.
And ya know, sometimes I love life so much and I am just filled to the brim with a feeling of joy for the people I know and the things I'm doing. It's like this helium-like (that's all I can think to describe it with) feeling is streaming out of my thoat. It's always a bummer when that ends and people have to go or the activity has to stop. Such a bummer. Sometimes I wish things wouldn't change --- but they have to change. It's like a chocolate covered rock. haha. No, it's more like this particular book series I read when i was younger. Each new story was fantastic and exciting, but I always missed that feeling as I moved onto the next. That's life I guess.
Rain makes me sad sometimes, but other times it's just magic --- like tonight.
Rainy nights. They refresh the grass.
They quench the dirt and tickle the bass.
Good fishing tonight, good swimming tomorrow.
Good growing for days, but hard mowing to follow.
I'll turn off my iPod and hear the rain fall.
Then I'll fall asleep sooner and dream of it all.
Quicker than snow, and sadder than sun.
But with the right boots --- a whole lotta fun.

My Interests

I love Devendra Banhart's music . . . but I wish he wasn't so into the drug stuff. It's aweful...

..Do I like music? Heck YEAH I do! I play guitar, mostly finger picking, but I want to learn how to play with a pick between my thumb and index finger and then still finger-pick with my last 3 digits. Eh? Eh? I think that'd be fun. I play classical and boogie piano, however I once learned "Bohemian Rhapsody" which is still kind of classical, but more rock. ANYWAY, now you know.

I went to New York last month for the International Summit on Making Human Rights a Global Reality! I went with friends and made so many friends while I was there! It was so fun and purposeful and volunteering and not just participating made it that much greater!

We were there for World Peace --- and a piece of the action!

In our down time we played cards. Here's my poker face.

Okay . . . we tried to play cards. haha jk

Getting tatted in NY. Bic mmhmm that's right.

We're very international ;)

We're very, very international!

Aww, the Jay.

Aww, the Matt.

The American, German, "Greek" haha, and Japanese on the Canadian bus. Doesn't that just blow your mind!?! No? Fine.

Brittney and me looking fabulous ;)

David and me looking fabulous ;)

The Seattle-ite showing the rest of us how excited she can get XD

Near the end of the trip, I would fall asleep if I stood/sat still for too long. That was fun/embarassing.

Don't takamine and I won't takayours ;)

Here's a pic of my plant counterpart.

Oh, and I like theatre. Here's some promo from a play I did this Spring. (Which one's me? I'll give you three guesses --- and the first two don't count.) This is some of the cast from one of our movies (The Good, The Bad and The Fabulous Coming Soon!)
Top to bottom --- The Wizard; The Fair Maiden; The Detective; The Ugly Stepsister/Leprechaun.
Your Seduction Style: The Natural

You don't really try to seduce people... it just seems to happen.
Fun loving and free spirited, you bring out the inner child in people.
You are spontaneous, sincere, and unpretentious - a hard combo to find!
People drop their guard around you, and find themselves falling fast. What Is Your Seduction Style?

I'd like to meet:
