Hello there! I'm Heather and apparently I'm in my own extended network --- which is a little odd --- but whatever. I like to write pretty much everything except for 2,000 word research papers (AAAARRGGGHH!!!) and music is one of my fortes --- piano-fortes that is. haha that was a joke.
And ya know, sometimes I love life so much and I am just filled to the brim with a feeling of joy for the people I know and the things I'm doing. It's like this helium-like (that's all I can think to describe it with) feeling is streaming out of my thoat. It's always a bummer when that ends and people have to go or the activity has to stop. Such a bummer. Sometimes I wish things wouldn't change --- but they have to change. It's like a chocolate covered rock. haha. No, it's more like this particular book series I read when i was younger. Each new story was fantastic and exciting, but I always missed that feeling as I moved onto the next. That's life I guess.
Rain makes me sad sometimes, but other times it's just magic --- like tonight.
Rainy nights. They refresh the grass.
They quench the dirt and tickle the bass.
Good fishing tonight, good swimming tomorrow.
Good growing for days, but hard mowing to follow.
I'll turn off my iPod and hear the rain fall.
Then I'll fall asleep sooner and dream of it all.
Quicker than snow, and sadder than sun.
But with the right boots --- a whole lotta fun.
