Heres to forgiving the perfidy in our lives so our hearts do not heal crooked and lopsided.

About Me

My name is Christina Hershey. I guess the best way to share a little bit about myself is to tell you about a few of the “labels” I have earned in my life. I am proud of each of them.I am the wife of a Navy Chief, and Mother to Alexander and Zachary. Considering what is best for my family, specifically my children and my husband, dictates my day-to-day decisions.I am a Zaryac sister, a label that is somewhat envied by some. I have four sisters who I draw strength and knowledge from. They are my best friends, and have each saved me in one or another on countless occasions. If you are a Zaryac Sister, you are never alone.I am TiTi, or Aunt Christy. I have thee nieces, and three nephews. Each one of them has taught me different lessons in life. Some were happy. Some were sad. They are all amazing. They teach me everyday to slow down and listen to what they say about the events and world around them. Children see thing that adults miss.I am also a daughter, a student, a procrastinator, a teacher, a comedian, a volunteer, and an individual. A woman who loves to read and watch classic movies. All of these labels are part of me, but do not entirely define who I am. I am Christy.

My Interests

Bunko! lol Reading, playing, laughing....what ever makes me smile.

Movies:

B Title horror movies mostly. Anything with Zombies in it, and comic book super hero movies, because I can enjoy them with my boys.Favorite all time: Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Breakfast at Tiffany's, the Note Book.

Television:

Realty show Junkie! Rock the Cradle, Girls Next Door, Survivor, Family Jewel, I know my Kid is a Star, Bad Girls Club, Project Runway, Super Nanny.....blah blah blah blah.New Adventures of Old Christine, Til Death, Rules of Engagement, My Name is Earl, The Big Bang Theory.Wow, that's a lot, I might need a life. :-)

Books:

There are those hearts, reader, that never mend again once they are broken. Or if they do mend, they heal themselves in a crooked and lopsided way, as if sewn together by a careless craftsman.Forgiveness, reader, is, I think, something very much like hope and love, a powerful, wonderful thing. And a ridiculous thing, too. Isn't it ridiculous, after all, to think that a son could forgive his father for beating the drum that sent him to his death? Isn't it ridiculous to think that a mouse could ever forgive anyone for such perfidy? But still, here are the words Desperaux Tilling spoke to his father. He said "I forgive you, Pa." And he said those words because he sensed that it was the only way to save his own heart, to stop it from breaking in two. Despereaux, reader, spoke those words to save himself.

Heroes:

Sarah and Josh.
