Upon Crimson Wings

We were a melodic death metal band that incorporated elements of brutal death metal, black metal and a hint of hardcore. The band was started in the spring of 2000 by Dave Maggot and Mark Richards, 2 kids who just wanted to play some fucking face-shredding metal. It was a rough first couple of years, but with the addition of Greg Sabin on bass, Seth Conway on drums, and Rob Devlin (ex-Beyond The Sixth Seal) on second guitar, UCW managed to gather a large, yet scattered, fanbase all around the world. Performing with such bands as All That Remains, Unearth, The Red Chord, Deadwater Drowning, From A Second Story Window among many others, UCW dominated Massachusetts with a strange breed of metal. The glory was short-lived, as the band broke up in 2004; the memory lives on in all of our hearts. So throw up your fucking horns, burn some nuns, and keep it fucking crimson!
