Marc S. Adkins aka Nagan
Nagan is a biblical name or word which stands for one who plays stringed instruments hence the name "Nagan". Nagan began playing instruments at a very early age. His parents knew immediately that he was blessed witn musical talent when he began to pull pots and pans out of the cabinet and played them like drums when he was a baby. Nagan grew up in church play music all of his life. Being the son of a pentecostal preacher, he began playing bass guitar in services at the age of 6 years old. Not soon after he switched to playing the drums when he was nine years old. After many years of being a drummer, he began to pickup his next instrument at the age of 14 which would be the keyboard. Nagan also participated in band from grades 6 thru 12 being in the marching band, jazz band, and orchrestra playing snare drum, bass drum, quints, xlyophone, timpani, bass guitar, and keyboards. Throughout the years Nagan always switched back and forth between all three instruments and when he grew in one instrument he grew in them all. While serving an enlistment in the U.S. Navy Nagan picked up an additional instrument being the Hammond B-3 organ. While in the Navy, he begin to realize that God blessed him for a purpose. So in efforts of pursuing a career in music Nagan left the Navy after three years. Still chasing after his dream and his calling, Nagan is positioning himself to make a debut on the music scene as a producer. With smooth, subtle, and melodic sounds Nagan hopes to one day take the music world by storm. His style is a mixture of music which consists of gospel, jazz, r&b, neo-soul, latin, reggae, and fusion roots. Be on the look out for upcoming projects by this inspiring musician.
