The Chosen is a Christian Alternative Rock Band with a Flair of Opera. This Ministry Consists of 3 members who are brothers and sister, Mariangeli Gonzalez (age 24) Founder of the band, Main Vocalist, and Writer. Michael L. Gonzalez (age 13) Background Vocalist. Luis Gonzalez (age 21) Co founder, Drummer and Music Director. They come from a family of 11 Children in total 8 Boys and 3 Girls who are all musically inclined and parents who are Ministers for 35 years, Bishop Luis R. Gonzalez and Reverend Ana Gonzalez, Founders of Manantial de Vida, Inc.
The Chosen started on July 15th of the year 2004, when they decided to embark a challenge at the 99.1 Battle of the Bands Competition, and they were selected as the top 6 finalists. With the dynamic Lyrics and unique style of worship they gained recognition among the Christian media, such as magazines, local radio stations and organizations. Since then, this Ministry has seen thousands of lives being saved and delivered throughout the years. People have been healed physically as well as emotionally. Their main declaration through the music and profound lyrics is that through Jesus everyone can find salvation, deliverance, joy and peace. Their main focus is to restore the souls, at the same time revolutionizing the Christian Church projecting a message of unity, for all to be in one mind and one spirit connecting with no barriers of culture, language, or religion; through the music communicating with one another with the language that is Universal, the Language of Worship.

The Chosen is honored at the victory that the Lord has given them, as they summit to hear God’s voice and obey his command. Determined to follow Jesus’ example, even if it cost them their lives they will follow and respond to their calling...
