Is he gentle? Is he powerful? Is he strong? And more importantly, can he last all night long?

About Me

Cool, hip, confident, masculine guy looking for lust, some friends, or some kind of connection with something as yet undefined.I'm attracted to mind and character more than a finely polished surface. I like the bruises earned in fighting the good fight. I tend to avoid anything 'perfect' .... I kinda think the real truth and beauty lie in the flaws. 'Neat' and 'clean' are over-rated. I like the diamonds in the rough ... the salt of the earth.Guys who are 'usual', 'typical', or 'average' rarely draw my interest. I like someone with something original to say and something unique to offer.I’m a bit of a nerd and a sucker for a challenge. My overzealous ego is my Achilles heal. I can toss a ball around and I like throwing overhand. I can spar pretty well if properly motivated. I can pretty much excel at standardized tests of any kind. I sometimes regret having done so.Despite this, the workings of my personal computer escape me.When I was twelve I ran away from home only to have gotten as far as putting up a tent in the backyard. I drink milk out of the carton in my underwear in the middle of the night. I drink about 2 gallons of diet coke each day. I drink almost as much tequila (although I'm usually clothed, unfortunately). I eat vegetarians.I can cook and bake, and very well I might add. I clean impulsively. I do my own laundry (safely). I really cannot sing - no matter how very badly I may want or try. I am good with money. I would 'like' to think it is because I'm frugal, but it probably has more to do with being taught the value of the dollar (which is shit for the time being).I don’t believe in oraganized religion much to the dismay of my devout Catholic mother, valentine’s day, the judicial system in Los Angeles, or "republicans". I do not trust the easily impressed, chronically unimpressed, people who do not eat carbohydrates, and people who spend too much time at the gym.No matter what i've said - I am a total optimist. I have faith in mathematics, logic, the free-market, and the power of the human spirit to achieve amazing things. I am forever in awe of the complexity of life, the miracle of consciousness, and the (unspeakable) beauty of human creativity.I won’t tell you I’m 'nice' or laid-back or ‘interesting’. I can be abrupt, aggressive, competitive, and overly complex. I don’t wear deodorant unless I am leaving the house. I overly moisturize, tenderize and accessorize and also have been known to shave in odd places. I would like to think I’m pretty simple, but I know that is really not true.If it is wet, damp, moist, or liquid I will probably like it. Likewise if it smells musky, tastes salty, or feels slippery. Shameless displays of unabashed masculine bravado are sexy. So are muscles. Quiet confidence and understated brilliance turn me on. Modesty makes me swoon. I really like to swoon, but only let myself really do it internally.I like roller coasters, maps, Santana, self-proclaimed hot muther fuckers, and socks - though I discard ones with holes immediately. I prefer to show you who I am than tell you what I am ... and I'm kind of dreading that this has turned into a horrible piece of grandstanding and self-promotion. PLEASE say HI if you have anything original, interesting, or reassuring to say.Now for my shocking secret. I have been looking into surrogacy agencies, more preferable those dedicated to the gay community as I wish to eventually have a child of my own. I'm not getting any younger and I certainly haven't found the right guy just yet who also shares that hope. So I have decided that it isn't all bad to do this on my own as there are many single parents out there and if they can change a dirty diaper and preside over a meeting at the same time, why can't I? So, there you have it in a nut shell. For more information check out this website www.GrowingGenerations.com

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anthony Polata after years of corresponding and speaking with him on the phone, an up and coming film director and producer in Southern California is working with me on a documentary I wrote, he's begun filming already and am looking forward to the end product which I will post when complete; Jason Kennedy from E! News. Am, I the only one who finds him absolutely adorable? Oh, I can't forget Juan Pablo DiPace. My god, I wet myself everytime I see him, could you imagine the train wreck i'd be if I met him in person? Other than the forementioned gentlemen, just genuinely grounded, intelligent, and high quality individuals, especially if you have chest hair or ripped abs (my weakness) are the bees knees!

Music:

All types really but usually lean more towards classic rock, my friends kid me about this when they get into my car but screw them its my car and we'll listen to what I want to listen to, not some goofy Techno shit. Neil Boortz mainly because he has no filter and has the guts to "say it" no beating around the bush - love him or hate him, he says it like it is, and face it someone has too.

Movies:

Pretty much anything with Raoul Bova (you know him from "Under the Tucson Sun")in it. And, of course the Godfather and its sequels.

Television:

Mostly enjoy watching Food Network or HGTV for ideas on things I can do around my home. Nothing else seems to hold my interest for very long. Love the Tudors, Californication, Weeds, and Nip/Tuck. Miss the Sopranos (If you love me you'd send me the complete DVD set).

Books:

"How to Hit a Curveball, Grill the Perfect Steak, and Become a Real Man: Learning What Our Fathers Never Taught Us." by Stephen James (Author), David Thomas (Author)What guy doesn't need some pointers on how to be the man he wants to be? And we know that being a man is so much more than building a successful career and mastering the mechanics of daily life (like oil changes), those functional things are really important too. By addressing the basic, primal, and archetypal moments that all men experience, this book helps men become more invested in their passions, their families, and their lives.

Heroes:

My wonderful, loving and supportive father and hope that I become half the man he is. And, I couldn't forget my group of disabled kids whom I work with, they give me the strength to keep moving forward.Click the American Red Cross Bubble below and make a tax deductable donation.
