Although it is clear that it is a common practice to use the myspace space (That is kind of fun to say), for self-promotion, I would like to use my myspace space (Still kind of fun to say) to promote what I find as great musicianship in music. That however, isn’t what this page has turned out to be. I have fallen short of this goal. I say that because I now have succumbed to self-promotion just like most others on myspace.I am a non-professional, professional bass player. By that I mean I play music and get paid but only on the weekends. Do to other more important things; it’s not my full time gig. I have played with a number of bands through the years, ranging from country and blues to funk and jazz. Currently I play bass for a Blues and Soul band that hasn't been name yet because know one can agree on a name. Maybe the "yet to be named band" would be a good name.When I'm not gigging with my mates, you might catch me jamming or recording with some of the other local talent in town. I'm very blessed as a bassist, because I have many opportunities to regularly play with many of the best musicians in my area. Which, as you know is better then playing with yourself. Unless you are someone who likes to play with themselves I know I don't like too... (Long awkward pause) Well, any way back to my point. I get to play my bass a lot.The musicians you will find here listed as my friends are not really my friends. I know you are probably thinking, DAAA. They are friends in the since that they have influence me or are or will be an influence in music. I’m not out collecting any group or persons for the sake of adding people as friends to have a larger number of friends. I only will add people that I like either as musicians or individuals. With that being said, if you are sincere about being connected to what I am doing and the progress of the Blues band (That still has no name) please add you to my friends.
