Hello, my name is Jerry "KC" Young. I am a 31 year old poker player and freelance writer from Kansas City, Missouri. I was writing for American Poker Player Magazine, but its not defunct for all I know, along with the website I was writing for. What can ya do when their management sucks.I have been playing poker since I was 8 years old back when we played for nickels and dimes at family events. I now play seven days a week. From bar poker leagues,casinos, and online. Anywhere from free poker up to 10-20 No Limit. I am well crafted in every game that most casinos spread, but Hold Em and Razz have to be my strongest and most favorite games.I also have been writing since I was around the same age. I remember making my own books of writing back in second grade and handing them out to friends and teachers. I write anything from songs, poetry, stories, opinions, or just informative pieces. I have also been published in a few poetry books, and WAS writing for a nationl pblication.As you can see, both of my loves I was doing all in one career, how can you beat that? Right now, the writing is in hiatus. I probably will start a personal blog on here dedicated to poker if you want to read it from time to time.
