About Me
***Note***I am a Student Pastor and I have teenagers that will be on here as my friends, SO KEEP IT CLEAN and make sure that you realize I will delete any comment that I would deem inappropriate for these teenagers I have under my spiritual care*** Now that I have taken care of that...My name is Joey, and I am a Pastor to Students at New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford, GA (a suburb of Hotlanta), and I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world, Lindsay. To all of my friends and former classmates at GCA, I must say that I am sorry for not keeping in touch, but what I wouldn't give for MySpace to have been around back then! I have served on church staffs in Virginia during my seminary days, and I always had Atlanta and Dallas as the top two cities I would like to do ministry in. I love student ministry because it helps me stay young, and I am looking forward to where God will take us in the future as we seek Him. I guess that I am in awe of how amazing God is, and Lindsay is a perfect example of His constant mercy and grace in my life. I look forward to catching up with everyone...if you'll forgive my lack of contact through the years...and I hope that I can even catch back up on the last (dare I say) eight years since I moved from Big D.
