About Me

Im a New Yorker in London, attending university at the moment so that I can someday acquire money to buy myself pretty things in this wonderfully inexpensive city. Not that I dont buy myself pretty things at the moment, but the repurcussions are that I am forced to live in a cardboard box and eat woodchips for dinner. I'd suppose you could say I'm over here to get away from my ordinary..but no matter where you go the extrodinary becomes the ordinary sooner or later.

I really listen to anything that catches my ear....mostly the indie rock sort of stuff... to name the more obvious ones: The Features, Kinks, The Clash, Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, BRMC, Sunchine Underground, Hot Chip, Flaming Lips, The Shins, Oasis, Blur, Arcade Fire...etc. etc etc

Movies:

Lost in Translation, Rushmore, Trainspotting, V for Vendetta, Closer, Garden State, American Werewolf in London, Kubrick stuff...not a very good summation. I suppose I should really watch more movies.

Television:

The Mighty Boosh, Peep Show, Black Books, The Simpsons, blah blah

Books:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Clockwork Orange, Dorian Gray, The Information (Which I still havent finished), The Buddha of Suburbia
