Yo, my name is Yanniv Gold from Tel Aviv, Israel. I hope to write some more words about me in the next future (maybe when I'll finish my album...hehehe) but at the moment, here's something I copied from Onyx community on Orkut:
Yanniv Gold Farb, born in Israel in 1976, started to play music at the age of 15 when he got his first electric guitar. At age of 18 he started to DJ in a major local club some Alternative Rock music and in 1995 he started to play Goa Trance.
In Japan (1996-2000), together with his Turkish friend DJ Sancar (OTG), he started Arcadia, a successful party organizing and CD distribution company, while playing all over and starting to produce his own music. In the summer of 2000, the team parted ways and Yanniv returned to Israel to create a new label, Bionics Records.
After several years of activity, Yanniv realized that he had to choose between running his own label and his passion to write music. The decision to close Bionic Records was inevitable and Onyx was born.
These days,Yanniv is producing music under the Onyx name under the major label BNE/ YoYo.The Onyx sound is influenced by a diversity of music and trance styles, which combine together to make a unique form of energetic and fun music that hits any dance floor.Yanniv has cooperated with artists like Space Cat,Oforia, PTX, Domestic, Black & White, E- Jekt, Ultravoice, Perplex and theres plenty more to come...
