Hello world, time for a change of blurb. My name is Will Isherwood, im 22 and I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts; Majoring in Sound. On the side I Act in theatre productions, Currently "The Merry Wives of Windsor" in Rotorua, and the show previous "Tons Of Money" for which I gained the award for "21 AND UNDER ACTOR OF THE YEAR" at the Dolphin theatre in Auckland.When at home in Rotorua I am a Volunteer Fire Fighter at the Lake Okareka Volunteer Brigade.The reason for the songs you hear is quite simple: I got seriously sick of crap music on the TV and radio being "played" (and of course by played i mean synched) by people who didn't seem to know which way to hold a guitar, so I set out to write some songs.I have only been playing guitar for around 2 years, and taught myself Bass for the demo that I made. I have been playing drums for 14 years, 5 or 6 of those semi-professionally as a jazz drummer. I have never really spent much energy writing songs as I feel that I'm not poetic enough to get the words right and it will sound well... crap.Knowing that; my Demo Cd "Hueleme Las Nalgas" (an uncommon Mexican insult), was created entirely by myself using borrowed equipment. It was recorded over roughly two week and a half blocks in October 2005 and January 2006. As I had never used the gear before nor written songs, and of course recording in a set time frame the songs are very rushed and as such the quality is very rushed and in places poorly timed as I did not have proper in ear monitoring to record with. So effectively this is a very very rough demo of what I would want the songs to sound like given the chance to properly record.I think this Demo has an original sound, and is different from most New Zealand music that is in the chart at the moment. And I feel that there are some tracks that could reach the top ten singles chart.
