About Me

hmmm...about me. I love to laugh (at others and myself). I'm a pretty crafty girl and always have a million projects going...knitting, stained glass, card making. Anything and everything. I just moved back to Illinois from LA after an 8 year absence...it's freaking me out!!! I am obsessed with movies and usually have good opinions about everything I see (as my friends tell me...I like everything, so no one listens when I tell them about a movie) I'm pretty spontanious and am up for anything. I'm goofy, clutzy (I am forever falling off of my shoes and tripping on carpet), LOVE animals and zero in on any animal in the vicinity. I hate litterbugs and will pick up stranger's gross trash because it's the right thing to do. I am ALWAYS cold and I love diet coke (not just cause it's diet, but because it ROCKS!) I love to sing along with the radio even though I STINK. I think I'm the sweet girl next door type with a little saucyness thrown in. I love to travel and was lucky that my stepdad was a pilot for Delta before he retired. On all school vacations he would pick somewhere fun for us to go and bond...France twice, Italy, Greece and Japan. Yeah...Fun!

Stained glass, yoga, swing dancing, salsa (dancing, not the dip), everything from the 1930s-1970s, Knee Socks, Bell Bottoms, Old Hollywood Glamour, newsboy hats, big bracelets, knitting with the Shiz-knits, US weekly, french fries, reading by the pool, watching movies...I LIVE for movies, buying shoes...I also live to buy shoes and Jimmy John sandwiches.

Books:

The Princess Bride (The good parts version), Angels & Demons (very exciting...couldn't put it down), The De Vinci Code...basicly anything by Dan Brown. I read all his books in a two week period. The Lovely Bones, Jane Austen (Pride & Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park), Romance (I'm a sucker for those sex scenes), Murder/Suspense (the bloodier the better). The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde (Hysterical!!), ME by Katherine Hepburn...That little chicadee was wild let me tell you...Wow!

Heroes:

My mom and my Grandma. Two tough broads who had to overcome alot of crap to be happy. Audrey Hepburn and Katherine Hepburn...Audrey for all her great work with UNICEF and Katherine for being the ballsy lady who said screw you to all those men who told her she couldn't do something because she was a women.
