I'm currently a born-again college student (reentry into college) attending Humboldt State University (don't ask, no, I don't have any... I'm sure you people know what I'm talking about). I have a strong interest in how the natural world works. I feel God created things the way they are for a reason, and that I'd like to explore Creation more. It's a way for me to connect with Him. It's kind of like getting to know an artist while looking at his artwork.
I'm also really just awed by the things we learn when we pay attention to the way things are beyond the boundaries society puts on people. I feel that nature is far more important than making an extra buck. After all, how can you possibly improve on something the Master has created and called good?
