I love music.....listening to people jam (occasionally myself)...I like dancing to good music (sometimes on tables..haha) I shouldn't sing, but sometimes I do if the mood strikes me. I love me some mary jane - and I'm not talking about a chick ;-) - It really makes my world go round
I mean, come on....it's an herb - good for you - expansion of the mind and all that good stuff.....a great way to get fucked up with out all of the nasty effects that alcohol leaves you with(most of the time) Don't get me wrong...I also enjoy being able to say . And I usually end up saying that more than once a week.....
As I said before, I love to write. It's a nifty way for me to ALWAYS have a reminder of what I was feeling/doing at the time - even if it is (occasionally) a documentation of my stupidity. I hate making plans, but I do know that EVERY tuesday evening I'm a Luigi's in Staunton because it's open mic night and I know that there's going to be good times, good music and good beer....although I'm mostly there for the good music. Lu's is one of the most chill places that I've ever been to (what other bar can you go to and hear the Hokey Pokey or Wheels on the Bus and no one act like it's weird?) I love being with my phriends. It doesn't matter what we're doing - we can have a good time in almost any situation....(sorry Christina....the redneck dance was not one of those times)...and it's always nice to surround yourself with people that know you're weird and don't care. I like gardening and being in nature because nature because nothing is a mistake in nature....everything has a purpose and everything is perfect in it's own way. I love animals - and I take in all the strays that come around me...everything needs a home, right? And besides, animals intentions are always pure. I like cooking even though I don't really like eating... I enjoy being and can't wait to add my collection. I enjoy art, even though I can't even draw a stick figure. I like to learn...I want to know a little about everything - who says learning has to stop just because we've left high school? I like to read, and if I find myself with a book that I like I don't put it down until I'm finished. I like to live - that's a really big interest of mine. I like doing the things that make me feel good about myself, like helping others that need it, or cleaning up the Earth around me.....it is, after all, the place I'm living for the rest of my life......that's really why I'm big into the whole Rainbow thing....yeah I'm sure you have no idea what I'm talking about (and if you do, you should message me) so go to www.welcomehome.org and then you can join me at the next gathering :-)

People who... think that they can keep up with me. {It's not always easy!} New (to become old) phriends who are always up for an adventure/mission because sometimes that's just what has to be done.....or who can be content to do nothing because sometimes that's all that's left to do. Hhhmmmm well if you haven't figured out that I'm a DEAD HEAD by now.....well there's really no hope for you. I think that Jerry Garcia's my guardian and I'm saddend that more people {my age} have no clue who he is. I love Phish, and Jimi Hendrix, and the Eagles, and Eric Clapton, and Sublime and Blind Melon and String Cheese Incident, and Moe and Bob Marley...I love mellow music because I'm really a mellow person - why subject myself with negativity if I don't have to?
But I do love some "hard" shit every once in a while....I love Marilyn Manson, Kazy is a new favorite, Cluth, TurboNegro, HIM (the old stuff), Godsmack, KORN, Alice in Chains, CKY...
I love listening to "real people" play.....their emotions and soul usually come through in their music because they haven't been tainted by the need to be "mainstream"....
Fuzzy is awesome.....gotta catch him on Tuesdays, Cutch is...intersting....Eric Comer is awesome....Jeremiah's amazing.....Jason is killer. I could listen to my phriends jam all night (even if it does wind up being the Hokey Pokey or the Wheels on the Bus...ha ha ha)
Movies:
I'm a big horror movie phan....although there's not many that can actually scare me or gross me out. I love House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects (and I can't wait until Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween comes out in October...) The Saw movies...loved them. Face's of Death really kept my attention - and I hear they're doing something new with the first two....
One flew the CooCoo's Nest is one of my all time favs....
What Dreams may Come - the imagery in that movie is amazing I think....love the colors. The Illusionist was amazing.....Boondock Saints is one of my most favorite movies of all time.....love the Ringer w/ Johnny Knocksville.....40 yr. Virgin was good.....
Bill Cosby's Himself was just awesome....doesn't matter how many times I watch that I will laugh until I cry...EVERY TIME....Secret Window....it was intersting....
Basically if it's not a "chick flick" I'll watch it....I hate "chick flicks", which is usually why I hit up the movies with my guy phriends as opposed to my girl phriends...
Television:
Hhhmmmm I don't really watch a lot of tv....I would rather do something that involved making my mind actually work instead of turning to mush....
But I do love Viva la Bam (although it's not really on anymore) Charmed, Sex and the City, Monk is just awesome, and who doesn't love CSI? OH and I've been corrupted into watching the Sopranos...and I love it. Weeds is a good show too :-)Ok, so besides BAM I don't really watch much TV. I like Charmed....Sex and the City, Will and Grace, Nip Tuck....oh and Criss Angel.....he's fuckin' awesome. He has powers.
Books:
Can be an amazing escape from reality. Sometimes I can completely loose myself in a book and can't even put it down until I've finished reading it. I like horrors and dramas mostly but I'll read anything that catches my attention. A couple of my favorite authors are Steven King and Dean Koontz. I just read an amazing book....couldn't stop reading until I was finished. It was Forever Odd by Dean Koontz...you should check it out sometime!
Heroes:
This song just fits. There are people that I care about fighting in this bullshit war and I'm not going to be able to really sleep until I know they're all home safe. Thanks for everything guys....I LOVE YA!
*While I in NO way support the war, I have all the respect in the world for our troops that are over there fighting* And anyone that can bring them home safely will always be considered a hero to me.
