Born native in Charolotte, NC. he has a poetry rap style and is very versitile in his music. Quest started rappin his freshman year in highschool. However writing poetry and music has been a passion of his since birth. Raised in the typical African American household he faced the struggles of oppression and being sterotyped by his race and his surroundings. However, being rasied by both parents who are both ministers of the gospel, he learned how to overcome every obstacle in life through Christ. The name "Quest" comes from his passion to bring back the truth and the realness in the rap game. Quest distinguishes himself from other artist as a voice for the streets and those locked in the struggle with the message to look toward Christ for deliverance and a "Better Day"(Quest Quotes) "The message in the rap game today is backwards. Quest's inspiration's in life as a young man were, Jesus Christ, his father, and Tupac. In 10 years "Quest sees himself as a man still serving his purpose in life".
