Tom S. - Collar Fanatic

I'm a college student and a Catholic and I've got to get the word out about a book that the Catholic media is totally ignoring --but the mainstream media (NBC, NPR, NY Times has surprisingly noticed). It's called The Collar and it's a new book that tells the real-life journey of five men to the Roman Catholic priesthood and gives the reader an amazing fly-on-the-wall picture of seminary in the United States today. It's a must read for all of us Catholics, especially anyone even thinking about a religious vocation. It's really incredible --so incredible I've set up this site just for it and I'm not even a MY SPACE kind of guy. Jonathan Englert is a really talented young writer and the book --nonfiction-- reads like a novel...in fact it's worth the price of admission just for the writing even if you're not that interested about the inner-workings of a seminary.
