About Me

table table table td { background:#FFF url(http://www.myspaceclipart.com/bg/cloudrose2.jpg); I'm 30 and married, living in Elkton. I'm working as a career counselor and getting ready to start my own business creating custom stained glass panels.I'm getting tired of counseling...which is not the kind of counselor that one would wish to have...I also am just finishing up a 10 month stint as an Americorps volunteer with Public Allies...interesting experience.

My Interests

Stained Glass* Sam* Wine* Taekwondo* Working for myself*

I'd like to meet:

I think I've already met 'most everyone I'd like to meet...and many that I have wished I hadn't. The new people in my life will come whether I want them or not, but I'm mainly looking to connect with people I haven't seen or heard from in a while.

Music:

Who am I listening to right now? ****Pinback *Pilot Round the Sun *David Bowie *Jimbo Mathus *PJ Harvey *Hoots and Hellmouth *The Police *Curtis Mayfield *Stevie Wonder *Morphine *The Sea and Cake*more to come...

Movies:

I find it hard to be convinced that watching movies isn't a complete waste of time - however, I continue to enjoy The Big Lebowski. Also, I just saw one called Wattstax - a 7th anniversary tribute to the Watts riots by Stax musicians in 1972. Talk about style!

Television:

Turn it off!And don't ask me if I saw this commercial or that reality show. I turned it off in 2000 - you should too.

Books:

Books that I'm reading, have recently read or intend to very soon:**The Art Spirit - Robert Henri **The House of the Spirits (thanks Doria, almost done) **Tuesdays with Morrie - Mitch Albom (better than I expected) **Jitterbug Perfume - Tom Robbins **Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates - Tom Robbins **Walt Disney - Hollywood's Dark Prince - He is evil, you know.**more to come...
