I Could Use A Good Laugh...

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm in a comfort zone. Don't try and take me out of it, or someone will get hurt. I am trying my best to grow older gracefully. Some days are better than others. I have to constantly remind myself of all the great feats I have accomplished, while I ponder what to tackle next. I love my family, I love my friends, both old and new. I have been privileged to be able to sorround myself with positivity. I laugh alot, and have been accused of not taking things seriously. I take my laughter seriously. Next to my family and friends, it's my most valuable asset. OK, I just bored myself.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Besides everything (which I think is quite alot of stuff), my other interests are comedy, cups of coffee, speaking Portuguese, pretending I don't understand Farsi, traveling as much as possible, facials, movies, theatre, and not dying prematurely. "Iwant to live 'til I die, no more, no less"-Eddie Izzard

I'd like to meet:

Music:

My musical interests are as eclectic as they could be. I like everything from punk to Hank Williams. I am a huge Latin music fan, I'm always up for anything Brazilian, and can't stay still when there's Salsa music playing. The only problem with that is that it's usually just playing in my head. So I'm pretty easy to spot in a crowd. Unless I'm in LA.

Movies:

I have recently become a Film Independent member, I am looking forward to being able to vote for Independent Spirit Award nominees(Ah, the power)! Some films I love: The Aristocrats (the Penn Jillette/Paul Provenza production, not the Disney Aristocats), Sean of the Dead, Sleeper, First In Show, Galaxy Quest, Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet (not the crap DiCaprio version), Defending Your Life, Box of Moonlight (and pretty much any other movie with either John Turturro or Sam Rockwell in it), Casablanca, Truly Madly Deeply, Shirley Valentine (for personal reasons), Shower, Pixote, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Muriel's Wedding, Mother, Most Vampire flicks...and much, much more

Television:

I think Tivo is the best invention since the carbohydrate. I record all sorts of junk. Getting around to watching it all has become a real challenge. Shows I must watch...House, Dexter, Pushing Daisies and Fornicating with the Stars. Wait, is that last one an actual show, or did I dream that?

Books:

Yea, I have some of those.

Heroes:

My husband, for saving my life, and then letting me run with it!

My Mommy

Obsession

To get a life, or not get a life, that is the question. I am fine and dandy wallowing in my Eddie Izzard obsession. Others might think differently. I occasionally struggle with what is too much E...

Death is Forever

Death is Forever Death. Not a very funny subject. I attended a funeral yesterday of a very dear Aunt. It wasn't unexpected, just so damn final. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that she's go...
