Danielle, has been in the lime light from a very early age when she started auditioning and attending modelling castings, and appeared in Mothercare Magazines, Woman’s Own Magazine, cereal adverts and even won a national competition to be one of the Bisto Gravy Kids.
However, Danielle’s main passion in life is modified cars and this blonde beauty most definitely was born with petrol in her veins. Being surrounded by cars all her life, Danielle realised when she was 16 that the sound of a Renault 5 Turbo really ‘set her off’. Danielle decided to use her modelling and dancing to get involved in the modified car industry, attending shows, cruises and meets.
Her TV credits include Revved Up – where she got to test drive the new Audi A3 Quattro, and SKY Coyote Love. A grid girl for Audi Palmer Race Team and Le Mans Endurance Team, she also launched the first Southend Legal cruise appearing on 12,000 leaflets.
In 2005 she was head hunted by Endemol, who wanted a ‘pretty girl who knew a lot about cars’ for the reality show The Garage. Danielle relished the opportunity and went to Spain for an apprentice junior mechanic role in a car garage doing oil and tyre changes and sweeping the floors!
Not just a pretty face, Danielle is now known throughout the car industry as ‘Turbo Tooshie’. Her strong ambition and passion for cars and helped push her career. She is now presenting for the biggest event in the industry ‘Castrol Edge Car Catwalk’, recently hosting the event in Essen, Germany November 2006.
Danielle feels modification and personally customising cars is a form of expressive art through automobiles. She has taken her passion for modified cars even further and started up ‘Modded Motors Agency,’ a car agency that sub-contract cars for launches, parties, music videos and movies. With straight through exhausts, flip glitter paint jobs, Gucci interior, fish tanks, TV screens, hot tubs, turntables, lambo or suicide doors, chrome spinners and bouncing hydrous, the list is endless on what is modified on these cars.
