HE IS/SHE IS/WE IS SO BEAUTIFUL

About Me

Born Joe Venegas Jr. unto this world on June 8, 1981 in a community of Los Angeles known as Artesia under a house of the sun formally known as Gemini, Fifth P has become known for his passionate dedication to the preservation and refinement of Hip Hop and his buttery blends of witty punchlines and conscious wordplay. Fifth P started the mastering of his craft as an emcee in 95' and finally formed a circle with some locals from Belize named Knowledge-One and Self Lion in 97'(although bredren for much longer than that) that would come to be called "Black Coral Nation". They have since each branched out into their ventures of making names for themselves while still remaining united under 1 banner of respect for each others movements. So they are continually recording a project that should soon hit the streets. Fifth was not what some pundits would have called a "schoolboy" in his younger years as he was clearly a free spirited individual who just plainly did not "give a fuck" when it came to his schooling and responsibilities(that may have been a mistake). He ran the streets of the N.O.C. maintaining a daily routine of street corner ciphers, battles, and blunt sessions with the likes of his stablemates named Forensics, Rap-4-Sho, Self lion, and Cro-Black among others, and usually engaged in a decent 4-6 hours of b-ballin at the locally famed Twila Reid Park in West Anaheim. But the times have switched up and Fifth P has become increasingly aware of his surroundings while rubbing elbows only with the select few who have held him down since the days of his a-b-c's. He has become increasingly disgusted with the current state his beloved Hip Hop culture has been thrust into and points out that Hip Hop has become the figure of a disrespected, watered down and all out shitted on artform thrown into the dungeons of a materialistic society where it has been suffocating and deprived of the genuine freedom, originality, and eye opening concepts that it once instilled. Thus Fifth P's motto..."FREE HIP HOP"... While Fifth understands that like all life forces that come about from movements such as Hip Hop, a natural evolution is imminent or should we say, bound to happen. Hip Hop has in some ways become more articulate and aware than in the past but at the same time is overrun, and just about dominated, by poisonous ideals brought forth by an irresponsible group of untalented rappers that flood our air waves and cable channels leading to the dumbing down and misleading of many generations and generations to come. With all praises due to those that came before him, Fifth P has continued to motivate along with his "Black Coral Nation" affiliates in fulfilling their mission to preserve and re-route Hip Hop back to it's "roots" that will provide a more fulfilling genre of Hip Hop music on a more consistant basis with the help of super producers such as Flip Da Soulfisher, Diabolic, O'Phrap aka Schwartzenegroe, and J.J. Johnson aka Al Terego aka DJ Science. So that means that Fifth P and his various conglamorates will continue to snatch the lunch tickets from the fingers of self-serving, non-contributing-to-the-hip-hop-community, hacks that continue to plant seeds of bullshit in the minds of our children and overall society of people who should know better. And he will continue to do proud his family and all those who have, over the years, encouraged and nurtured the young latino emcee into the person he has become and is striving to be. 1 Luv and GOD BLESS"The Black Coral Nation"
