About Me

I love to write as you already know that and one day I hope to become a well to do editor of a small magazine called NEWSWEEK. Next year I am going to Mizzou to major in journalism and political science with a minor in graphic design. I love anything that has to do with the entertainment world. You can give me an actor and I'll name off at least 3 movies they have been in. I love sports, hockey, baseball, football. Baseball would have to be my favorite though. Any contact sport is good on my list. Of course the Cards, Rams, and the Blues. One day I hope to be the next Diane Sawyer. Love her! My favorite color is obviously pink. I love mac&cheese! I love music. I have a very unhealthy obsession with shoes and purses. Not much purses, but shoes especially Puma shoes and I don't even like tennis shoes to begin with. I buy them and then I never wear them, but maybe once. I love to read. I'm the hostess at Jilly's Cafe and Steakhouse. Check it out here : www.jillycafeandsteakhouse.com

Music:

U2. I love the local band That 80's Band. They play at my work every once in a while. I also love the whole jazz scene, Erin Bode, Peter Cincotti, I was tuned into PBS and there was this special on him and I have been in love with him ever since, Jamie Cullum, The Rat Pack, Michael Buble and Nat King Cole. NOTE: RAP IS NOT MUSIC. Most of the time I will listen to anything it all depends on what type of mood I am in. I like my punk by the All American Rejects, Drop Kick Murphy's and Off By One. The pop Kelly Clarkson. I like rock, Queen, and U2. I love piano music. Andrea Bocelli, even though I have no idea what he is saying b/c it is in Italian. I still think it is the most beautiful music I have ever heard. Sting and the Police. I like Sting by himself when he crossed over to jazz better though. Anything Sting does really. Billy Joel, The Cars, The Cure, David Bowie, Prince, The Human League. The old INXS. Maroon 5, even thought they have totally sold out, I still love them. I liked them way before they went radio. Anything goes with me except rap and death metal.

Movies:

I am a total movie buff. The list could go on forever.Take the quiz:

Television:

I love to watch TV...that is when I have the time. Sex& The City reruns. Will & Grace. I'm so sad that it ended. I live by ET. Anything that is on VH1 except for all of the Celebreality shit. I have my own life to be concerned with. I watch CNN most of the time. Anderson Cooper is very intersting. Larry King is the coolest guy on there. I'm pretty much up on all of the current events that go on in the world today. I almost forgot my favorite of all time, Commander in chief. Geena Davis is the greatest actress ever! I'm so sad that it ended.

Books:

I love Rachel's Holiday even though it is about a drug addict, it is a great read. I hate American Authors except Hawthorne and Edith Wharton. I am a strictly an English Lit girl. My favorite of all time The Return of the Native. Anything Dylan Thomas. My favorite book of all time though would have to be Where the Wild Things Are. I read that so many times a kid.

Heroes:

Karen Beem. She was like a mom to me. I love her so much. She ment the world to me and now that she is gone I miss her so much. She would do anything in the world for me. She was always there when I need a shoulder to cry on. I know that she is in a better place and some day I hope that I will see her brillient beaming smile again.
