STUFF YOU May NOT HAVE KNOWN ABOUT RAY RAY:
* no joke, i have seen something that resembles a ufo. i was around 12 years old, and as my mom and i were driving my friend becky back home, we saw a ring of 5 or 6 bright lights hovering over the beginning of antire road as we were exiting my subdivision, not far behind amy's house. a tree got in the line of our sight though, and by the time my mom had backed the car back down the street again so that we could see that area of the sky, the thing had disappeared. all three of us saw it. very freaky. on a similar note:
* i don't believe in aliens. i think we are the only sentient beings in this galaxy. however, i do (obviously) believe in ufos. i think that our government has technology that the public isn't aware of. i'm not trying to sound like a government-conspiracy theorist-- i honestly think that it is in our best interest for our government to keep things from us. on a government-related note:
* i hate bush. he is mentally-handicapped. he is the reason i am now democratic. that doesn't mean that i was ever a republican.
* i am currently trying to grow out my hair. i can never make up my mind, if it should be long or short. i like it both ways. i'm impatient though, so i'm saving up for hair extentions.
* my favorite color is green. it has been my favorite color since i was very young, back when i liked to pretend i was michaelangelo from the teenage mutant ninja turtles.
* michaelangelo is my favorite ninja turtle. however, that is based on the old, original cartoons. the new ones suck. bad.
* i also like the color orange. i've heard that green and orange are social colors, and if they are your favorite, you are a very social person. i don't see how this obsevation applies to me, however- i wouldnt exactly consider myself a social person. then again, i'm not exactly anti-social, either.
* i am more at ease making friends with guys than i am with girls. i certainly would love to have more girlfriends than i do, but haven't met many girls with the same interests as me. i relate with boys much easier.
* i am a star wars fanatic. you may not know this, seeing as how it is my deepest, darkest secret- but alas, it is so very true. i've been obsessed since i was 10- doesn't seem to just be a stage. i've recently come to terms with it. you'll just have to come to terms with it, as well.
* my room is never clean. if you ever see it clean, then you have witnessed a true miracle. perhaps i will then part the sea for you.
* i hate brand-name clothing. it is expensive, poorly-constructed, and damn ugly. i refuse to spend $30 to promote a clothing company that takes advantage of stupid people. hollister gets away with selling t-shirts for $30 that are as thin as the vintage, well-worn coca-cola shirt my mom gave me from the early sixties. i shop at places like gordmans, not because i am too poor to afford the crap that american eagle puts out, but because i have enough common sense to know that there is no logical reason a pair of their blue jeans should cost $80, while you can find the exact same pair for $20 in another store. speaking of clothing:
* you will never see me spend more than $25 on a pair of jeans. nor will you see me spend more than $25 on a pair of shoes. the most expensive t-shirt i have ever bought cost me $18- and it was a trigun shirt, so i couldn't really resist. i don't wear it often, though, so i will never make that mistake again. i could screen-print my own shirt for half the cost.
* I AM A HOPELESS ROMANTIC. theres no denying it. i just wish i could find someone that is the same as me in those regards.
* my favorite radio station is 93.3.
* i don't know if i could live without my liquid eyeliner. i think the reason some of my friends think i look somewhat asian is because i am rarely seen without it. i find this amusing. speaking of asians:
* they are damn sexy. i don't know what it is. i want to date a sexy asian-american man.
* i have a weakness for longer hair on guys, especially dark-colored hair. and inverted-triangle body-types. whooooo!
* i absolutely hate the sound of cracking knuckles. it makes my skin crawl.
* i will never smoke, drink (well, maybe on occasion, once i turn 21), or use drugs. i can clearly remember the instance when i decided this: i couldn't have been any older than 6 or 7. i was helping my mom rake leaves in the backyard and randomly blurted out that i wanted to be a "good kid" for her, and promised to myself that i would never smoke, drink, or do drugs, ever.
* i'm still scared of the dark. i've seen too many scary movies. i hate going outside alone at nighttime.
* i sing in the shower. loudly enough that the neighbors probably can hear.
* only 2 or 3 of my friends knew this about me previously, but i have been scouted by modeling agents 5 or 6 times- at wal-mart, the mall, various places. i once went to a modeling convention in kansas city when i was in 5th or 6th grade. i've never given much thought to actually being model until recently. i am now in the process of saving up enough money to start my photo portfolio, toning up a bit, and gathering enough courage and self-esteem to give it a shot. it's rather terrifying.
* my favorite animals are birds and turtles. perhaps it is because they both have beaks? i'm not quite sure myself. dogs are another foavorite. i prefer dogs over cats.
* i can't type fast. and i look at the keys. sue me.
* i once sliced my finger open with a plant leaf. yes, a plant leaf. it required 5 stitches. on a similar note:
* i have never broken a bone.
* i have yet to ride on an airplane. my family always drives when we go on vacation. i also have never been to another country.
* i like to play video games. it's one of my most endearing qualities.
* i am most certainly not a morning person. i hate mornings with a passion. i could easily sleep until 3 in the afternoon.
* i am allergic to shellfish. there is also a possibility that i am allergic to regular fish, so i tend to avoid it.
* i am rarely thirsty.
* i'm learning my first bits of html! i changed all the colors in this "about me" section. check out my "books" section: you'll find a clickable link there that will allow you to send me email--my first successful harder coding!
* i'm tired. i'll write more later.
