About Me

Thanks for stopping by...

South Wind Design started out as a hobby many years ago. While my intention was to use my work for my own personal use and gifts, thanks to my skilled teachers and encouragement of friends and family, South Wind Design took root. Inspired by my own Yaqui culture and all the potent, vibrant life experiences of an urban Ndn from sunny southern Cali, colorful expressions, such as those in the photos, seem to emerge on their own. I take great pride in my work and pay particular attention to detail while allowing my art to create itself. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone wearing my work proudly..
..

My Interests

Family, nature, friends, ceremony, cooking, back rubs, warm hugs, traveling, films, second hand stores, MUSIC, poetry, moments of clarity, gurly days, cruising around town with my cuzin, powwwowin, quiet time, quality time, laughter in the company of loved ones, tryin to get more green/organic/healthy stuff in my system, and of course beadin like mad!
