About Me

My guidance counselor in 9th grade once referred to me as a "go-getter." I've overheard the term "ladies man" wafting on certain breezes while close to gossipy ocean currents. Older men in unacquainted positions would instantly feel comfortable in designating me as their "son" or "sonny." My brother prefers the term "fucking asshole." So all in all a man of many terms, of many faces one might say. A mystery. A puzzle to be unraveled only by those strong enough to discover which terms such an open yet closed book could wring out from their vocabulary. A who done it wherein the lights flash out and the person you'd thought had done it actually gets killed and then you're not so sure who'd done it anymore. A September romance leading into heated arguments with your parents over whether your current placement was worth the effort of your upbringing. Observatory decks looking out over the balding heads of men you thought were once your cohorts and conspirators but now prefer reciting their dinner menus from the night before to acknowledging your presence. It's a fucked up bullshit existence and all you can do is tell your friends on my space about it. Well I won't have it. None of it. Count me out if that's the only compromise. As things stand and stood as of the time you'd first written your 500 character biography I'd rather leaf through the coloring books you'd crayoned through when younger and play it off as though they were worth the expense your stepdad had convinced himself that they were.
