My Dad. He sacrificed so much for the betterment of his wife and his children. He grew up in the deep south during the civil rights movement and was exposed to the worst racism you could imagine. But yet he fell in love with and married my mom, who is caucasian, and ultimately never let the color of her skin interfere with the deep love he felt for her. He taught his kids to respect one another because we are all equal and to treat people the way you want to be treated. That's how I live my life, and I thank him everyday for instilling these values in us. I am proud to be his son!!!
