About Me

Lets see, I'm 23, I'm going to school for Broadcast Communications with a concentration in radio...hopefully down the line I will be doing A&R for a record label. Other than that life is pretty crazy thanks to a large group of dysfunctional friends who make everyday one for the record books. I have a GREAT family...that have managed to put up with some ridiculous stunts on my part over the years, especially my sister whose had my back since day one. As far as guys go I'm taking my time with that too..it sucks having to answer to someone, so I do my best to keep things casual...(don't take that the wrong way)I just don't like the thought of attaching myself to someone. I have a great long-term relationship with myself and my friends. I basically just like to have a good time-all the time...no strings, no drama, no problem. Anyway, this is pretty much all I'm gonna give soooo....catch you all the interweb;-)

My Interests

I love to learn new things..and meet new people, love traveling...if I was made of money I would travel everyday....I LOVE music...even though I don't have a musical bone in my body. There is nothing better then a really long drive with your friends playing great music. And aside from music I love all things entertainment, can't get enough of it actually, I'm an entertainment junkie. I am def a night person, and i love camp fires, camping in general. I love fall...by far my fav season. I like being active, soccer and softball are what I'm good at, but I'll play anything. I love pick up games, like dodgball, pickel, handball, kickball, but they don't happen as often as I'd like. Trampolines are great but I always end up hurting myself on them. And I always like going to a good festival, whether it be for music or art, or even Tulips...even though everytime I go I never manage to see a fuckin tulip, I must be at the wrong spot. And then of course partying, love the bars and clubs...but sometimes nothing can beat a really great house party. Sooo, basically ummm...everything...I'm interested in pretty much everything...

I'd like to meet:

Everyone!!...Check that, just fun people...I have no room for anything boring in my life. But if I really HAD to narrow it down, I enjoy people who are honest, have open-minds, people with dreams and ideas, and who refuse to conform to the norm, individuality is the sexiest trait anyone can possess. And overall people who just know how to relax, go with the flow, and have fun.As far as famous people, lets see, Sara Silverman is great, and Angelina and Brad for obvious reasons, Chris Angel so he can freak my mind, Madonna because she's an icon, Bill Clinton seems pretty fun, Hugh Hefner, he is a legend, Madeline Kahn(if she were alive), Amy Winehouse, George Carlin, ummm---and a lot more, most people really....................................................Wh at is more fun though, is people I have absolutely NO desire to meet, for instance, Avril Lavigne, Paris Hilton, Kirstin Dunst, George W. Bush, or anyone else in the current administration, and pretty much all other people who seem to lack that special thing we call a brain. I'm not sure what would happen if I saw these people, but I am fairly certain I might end up in jail.------------------------------------------------------- ------------------MY NEW FAVORITE WORD:---------Backpfeifengesicht --- a face that cries out for a fist in it! -----I have no clue how to pronounce it....it's German if that helps at all---but as soon as i do figure it out, I'm sure I can put it to good use.

Music:

Can't really name one thing, I spend 1/2 my life looking for new and interesting music...I LOVE IT! But to name a few...Hendrix, Petty, Jay Z, Eminem, Steve Miller, DMB, Aretha, Mary J, Dashboard, Darkness, Flogging Molly, Whitestripes, Pink Floyd, Cake, Chili Peppers, Marley, Damien Rice, The Band (all Dylan), George Clinton, Queen (Freddie is pure genius), Prince, Rachael Yamagata, The Stones, Backyard Tire Fire, Counting Crows, U2, Johnny Cash, Scissor Sisters, Stevie Wonder, Sublime, Strokes, Mr. Airplane Man, Bonnie McKee, Portishead, Lou Reed, The Velvet Underground, Annie Lennox, Ben Harper, Spoon, The Fratellis, Dispatch, The Cliks, The Cars, Talking Heads, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Nick Cave, Rolling Stones, Saves the Day, Say Anything, Elton John....I should stop now...but I can't...for more recent stuff I'm loooving Mika, Paolo Nutini, Goldfrapp, Peaches, Amy Winehouse, Ernie Halter, Xavier Rudd, Feist, Regina Spektor, The Gossip and James Morrison-----And MOST recently I am LOVIN Eric Hutchinson, Ben Lee, Kevin Michael, Nouvelle Vague, Joshua James, Jarvis Cocker, The Kooks, King of Leon, The Feeling, A Fine Frenzy, G. Love, Jaymay....and....well, there are so many more I could go on forever...but for now I will stop. I pretty much like any and everything, except for Metal...but I'm open to it if someone has a good suggestion. And locally I suggest that everyone check out The Sarah Pedinotti Band and Graystar...

Movies:

300 DVD's and counting. Everything Quentin Tarentino, Pulp Fiction, Grindhouse, Jackie Brown, Resoivor Dogs, they were amazing. Stanley Kubrick is another genius, A Clockwork Orange, Dr. Strangelove, and Full Metal Jacket our fantastic. I LOVE comedies, Anchorman has reached legendary status for me, right along side Dumb & Dumber and Napoleon Dynamite. Campy comedies are hilarious too, Mel Brooks' older films are amazing, Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, can't get enough of those, or all of the Monty Python flicks, espically 'The Holy Grail'. Other greats are Once Upon a Time in Mexico & Desperado, 25th Hour, History of Violence...and anything scary. Wet Hot American Summer and Grandmas Boy are seriously underrated. Also, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine, Usual Suspects, and so many more like those are all great, anything that really makes you think. I love walking away from a movie and looking at the person next to me and having that thought in my head of 'what the F just happened?'...

Television:

30 Rock..watch it, thats all I gotta say. Oh, and I like other shows too..DH, Grey's Anatomy, Nip/Tuck, Lost, Weeds, Aqua Teen, Family Guy, The Office, Scrubs, Entourage, The Sopranos, Boston Legal, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Melrose Place and BH 90210(OLD YET TIMELESS ;-), Southpark, and too many more--I watch WAY to much TV apperently ...anyway, they are all awesome, but my all time favorites gotta be Seinfeld, Friends, Sex & the City, Reno 911, Trigger Happy, and Arrested Development....lovelovelove those shows...

Books:

Right now I am reading Paint it Black by Janet Fitch, it's awesome. And one of my all time faves was Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken as well as Shes Come Undone by Wally Lamb. ..

Heroes:

R.I.P. Linda and Erica ~ To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. -Ralph Waldo Emerson..
