"Are you havin a laugh....is he havin a laugh?!"

About Me

Hmm what do I say here then? In a nutshell the usual stuff really, going out with chums and spending far too much money on alcoholic items which then more often than not end with me dancing in a style that can only be described as, 'NOT FROM THIS WORLD or like Chandler from Friends on acid!' Other than that football (Liverpool), various other sports, tv and films oh and women which are generally so far out of my league even NASA can't reach them!..

My Interests

Football, girls and going out with mates. But other than that I like Mountain Biking, Golf, Photography and Writing.

I'd like to meet:

Well sadly Alan Partridge isn't a real person, so out of anyone I'd most like to meet Bruce Lee....what an absolute legend! However I will happily settle for meeting Rachel Stevens or Sarah Harding in a Little Chef! It wouldn't be a cheap affair either I might add, as I'd go that extra mile and pay for a delightful window table with extra sauces and napkins, you know so I really spoil her and make it a date she'll never forget! (Mind you given the prices of Little Chefs at the moment it would probably cost me less for the best table in Jamie Oliver's restaurant!)Other than them Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan, Robert De Niro, Peter Kay, Steven Gerrard, oh and Girls Aloud in a very tall and very slow lift, or the owner of a Blue Capri as it's blocking me in!!

Music:

The Kooks are my fav at the moment, but my music collection is amazingly varied. If I like a song then I like a song and really don't care who it's by. I have to know you very well before I let you see my collection though as it gets v embarrassing at times! Mind you I still can't get my head around MC Hammers trousers....where on earth did he get them I wonder and are they made by Marks and Sparks!

Movies:

With regards to serious stuff then if De-Niro's name's on the credits then it stands a bloody good chance of being worth the rental fee alone, with Goodfellas being one of the best movies ever made, even though Joe Pesci probably steals the show in that. Other than that I'd say things like Silence of the Lambs, Se7en, Snatch and Trainspotting to name a few!But everyone needs a giggle or two don't they so for that the award has gotta go to either 'Planes Trains and Automobiles!' or 'Dumb and Dumber'. But when a major hangover is added to the equation then things can really change, so that's what cheesy action films are made for i.e Steven Seagal, Van Damme, Stallone and Arnie....now that's the stuff!

Television:

My fave show of recent is without doubt The Sopranos. It took ages for me to finally give in to the constant waffling that my best mate was giving me about this show. But boy am I glad i did, as it's the best drama ever written....simply awesome!Mind you most of the time though serious stuff takes a back seat when it's on the tele so a good old laugh can be had. This is very easily done at the moment for me with the brilliance that goes by the name of Family Guy! Funny as hell!New stuff that grabs my attention would be Prison Break, Hustle and Saxondale! Other than that I love most the classic sitcoms like Only Fools, Blackadder, Faulty Towers, Father Ted, Porridge etc. But I'll always keep a special place for Alan Partridge as just thinking of him starts me off....iconic!!I do also have a strange addiction with detective shows like Frost, but for some reason I really like watching Columbo (what can I say he cracks me up!)

Books:

Well the Beano and Roy of the Rovers used to do it for me when I was somewhat smaller. But now other than biographies I'm really not a massive fan of reading as I get easily distracted, but the cover of Bravo Two Zero was a cracker lol!

Heroes:

Bruce Lee is an absolute legend for me. I used to think he was just good at Martial Arts until I read a biography on him and discovered just how far from the truth i really was. Hold on a minute....I have read a book (celebrations and cheap party poppers fill the room)! The Childhood favourites can't be ignored, so Spiderman, Transformers, He-man, Thundercats, The Hulk and Knightrider to name but a few!I still can't leave out Alan Partridge either though!Alan Partridge quote:Context: Alan talking about his new girlfriend.Quote: "Between you and me I do things with her that I'd never have done with my wife Carol. Occasionally I dost venture south, and when I do it's like a breath of fresh air!"
