TinaSinger/Actress/ModelMiss TinaBegan her singing career at the tender age of three, belting out duets with Diana Ross and Gladys Knight on her mothers hi-fi to a rapt audience of family members. By age 11 Tina had formed her own singing group, Destiny, and was knocking them dead at talent showcases all over her native Kansas City.She also attended the prestigious Caruthers Dance School, studying tap, ballet and modern dance. After high school, Tina made her way to Miami and Atlanta, honing her skills by performing in lounges and showcases. Most recently, Tina studied with the acclaimed vocal teacher Agy Lejman Norris.Since then Miss Tina has performed for Star Search, receiving a second audition, in several ASCAP showcases, and most recently at KKBTs The Beat Talent Search. She has recorded with DJ Quick and a number of west coast rap superstars!miss tina has also been busy rounding out her other talents: acting and modeling. Her acting work includes roles on the hit TV show Chicago Hope and the movie Soul Food, starring Vanessa Williams. As a model, Tina has appeared in ads for McClendons Hat Shops and was a runner up in the Los Angeles Model Search, sponsored by the Apione Model Agency.Singing is her first passion. she says.
