About Me

BUY OUR CD "ONE MORE BUTTON" THROUGH PAYPAL!TECTONIC PLAGUETectonic Plague is a hard rock band infused with funk, southern blues, reggae and soul. While still having an edge, The Plague performs and writes with emotion, depth, and heart. They have the old soul of seasoned veterans with the young swagger of the punk movement. With all four members being in their twenties, Tectonic Plague manages to have 50 years of playing experience under their belts. The group in its present state has only been around for a year, while the roots and friendships within the quartet go back decades. This chemistry creates songs and a tight sound that is honest and original but deja vu familiar. Within a short time-frame Tectonic Plague has released two self-supported albums, Live at The M (2006) and One More Button (2007), the group’s first LP. The Plague has also played dozens of shows in South Florida and is continuing to book gigs in the area.Three members are rooted in Pittsburgh including the intensely melodic rhythm section being pumped out by the brothers Stajdhuar, Alex and Bradley. Overtop of this foundation is the loose and versatile, gunslingin guitar player / singer, Mikey B. Supporting the cast is Eddie Kowski, the oversized and underestimated rhythm guitarist and Native Floridian providing the strength that puts this band over the top.Tectonic Plague is looking to sweep out over the world. If you can help us in any way accomplish the spread of our music, we sure would be appreciative. Spread the Plague. We want to thank everyone here and now for their support over the last couple of months. Aleena: She's been to every fuckin show - you're the Best. Butch: Our Spiritial Guidance - But no more Walkin The Dog with Butch before We Play. Christina: We love you. Thanks for bringin all of your jail-bait friends out. She's been to every show too. Jack: Our dedicated producer from Audacity Records who runs sound for us if we give him rum and coke. Jack - The other one: Gets the most-dedicated new Plaguer award.Eralda, Julie, Maria, Al all get honorable mentions. We'd probably be drinkin together anyway - but no matter what happens its been a blast. I hope we can continue doin this but just in bigger venuesI can't think of anyone else right now. Probably because of the Miller High Life. But we love you all thanks for comin.
