About Me
Storm Seymour FACTS: The following statements are true.......Storm is an enrolled member of the Meskwaki Indian Nation of Iowa
(a.k.a. Sac & Fox). His great-great grandfather Pushetonequa was the
last official chief of the Meskwaki tribe.
Storm has racked up some rather impressive credentials during his
solo career including, five #1 country singles (overseas radio market)
and three #1 gospel songs on God's Country International Gospel music
Top 100, as well as a truckload of music industry awards including; the
Nebraska Country Music Foundation's "Entertainer of the Year" for 4
years, a GOLD album for his CD, "Can't Stop the Storm", "Colonel Aide de
Camp" presented by Don Sunquist, govenor of the state of Tennessee,
"Admiral" presented by Mike Johanns, govenor of the state of Nebraska, the
"Kitty Wells Humanitarian Award" and the Native Spirit News' "Persons of
the Year", shared with Storm's wife Cheryl.
Over the years, Storm has shared the stage with many of country
music's brightest stars including; Toby Keith, Dwight Yoakam, Diamond Rio,
Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, John Michael Montgomery, Pam Tillis, John
Berry, Michael Martin Murphey, Janie Fricke, Marty Stuart and Waylon
Jennings.
Overseas, Storm's songs have CONSISTENTLY charted higher than many
of country music's biggest superstars including; George Strait, Garth
Brooks, Shania Twain, Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Vince Gill, Tim
McGraw and Kenny Chesney.
Storm has performed 5 times on the Ryman Auditorium stage in
Nashville and has received a well earned standing ovation everytime.
The truly amazing thing about all the aforementioned is that Storm
achieved everything without the favorable aid of a major record label
or professional management, but rather, by the grace of GOD.
Storm has garnered awards from New York to California, but his
music goes way beyond the borders of rock, country, gospel, bluegrass,
folk, blues, Latin and Native American music. Ironically, Storm has never
won a Native American music award, although he has been nominated
several times, but that does'nt stop Storm because he'll just keep rockin' on
down the road.......
