Band Members: Yuli was born in Beijing, and was raised by a family of musicians and composers with great influence in China. At the age of 6 Yuli joined his parents in Paris and at the age of 12, he obtained the highest piano degree at the Hector Berlioz conservatory. While pursuing his musical education at the Paris conservatory, Yuli discovered he had a strong interest in western pop and rock culture. In addition, after 15 years of rich classical education, Yuli began to realize how difficult it was to find an audience as a classical musician. It was time for him to switch to business studies and gain experience in the fascinating, music industry. After graduating from IPAG, a top French business school, Yuli held various creative and managerial positions at Universal Music China and Warner Music France before deciding to move to New York to improve his producing and sound engineering skills. Today, Yuli is gaining experience from established producers/engineers, notably : Producer/Engineer John Jansen (Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Lou Reed, The Who), Producer/Engineer Michael White (Whitney Houston, James Taylor, Ryuichi Sakamoto), Producer/Engineer Jay Messina (Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Kiss, Supertramp), Surround Engineer Rich Tozzoli (David Bowie, Carly Simon, Hall and Oates) and Producer/Engineer John Siket (Dave Matthews Band, Moe, Sonic Youth).
Influences: -Classical (From Beethoven to Stravinsky) -Film (From Danny Elfman to Hanz Zimmer) -Pop/Rock/Punk (From The beach boys to The Strokes) and infinite modern influences (from Air to Wang Fei)
