All sorts of things! First and foremost, I LOVE music...couldn't live without it! I love singing, songwriting, and learning to play guitar and piano. I enjoy dancing, reading, watching movies, LOVE the theater, working out, hanging out with friends, going to the lake or beach...love to lay in the sun, eat Mexican food and spend time with my family...they are a riot...nonstop entertainment! I also love to travel, though I don't get to near as often as I'd like:( I have a huge list of places to see before I...well, you know...I don't like the "D" word! And of course, shopping....that and Diet Coke are my only addictions...but ones I have learned to control!
Really would loved to have met Elvis! Beautiful man...Beautiful pipes...and so much charisma! Julia Roberts, Oprah, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw...came so close once but didn't want to be one of those annoying fans...could just kick myself for that, LOL! Ahh...one of my very favorite subjects! Well, I can certainly appreciate all music, anything from Opera to Hard Rock, but my HEART will always lie with good old fashioned COUNTRY music!!!! My entire family is musically inclined, everyone can either sing, play an instrument, or write songs....it all started with my Papa who grew up singing and playing music with George Jones in Beaumont, TX. My family had a very popular southern gospel singing group when I was a little girl, so I guess you could say it's in my blood! In fact, you can check out my cousin "Dustin James" who I am so very proud of, at www.dustinjamesmusic.com...like myself, he's also an aspiring country music artist! There's your "plug" Dust! All time favorite song...which moves me like no other is none other than "Amazing Grace"
I'm a movie buff....love to watch them all...action, drama, horror, comedy, but I must say I really love anything with Julia Roberts...she's infectious! My very favorite actress. Favorite movies of all time include: Dirty Dancing (I know all the words), Grease(Again, I know all the words), Pretty Woman, and Steel Magnolias...Chick Flicks...these are my favorites because they are the only movies that I can watch over and over and over again...and still love them:)
I'm a Sunday night girl, Grease You're the One that I Want (wish I would've auditioned!) and Desperate Housewives!!!!! I also enjoy the occasional CSI, Law & Order, ER or a Lifetime (I am woman, hear me roar) movie! But I'm not a devoted watcher...not enough time!
Definitely a book freak! At this stage of my life, when at the bookstore, I can usually be found in the "Self Improvement" section. I've been on this kick for the past couple of years...trying to "find myself" and "figure it all out" I hear this is normal at my age, LOL! Can anyone relate? Hence, I seem to have this unquenchable thirst for knowledge...which I promise you I did not have during school:( Bummer! I literally will be in the middle of five different books at the same time. Right now I am reading Soul Harvest, The Girl's Guide To Being A Boss (without being a bitch), The Complete Leader, and Information Technology Project Management. Some of my recent favorites include Fabulosity, Life Laughs, and The Five Love Languages...FABULOUS book!
