Born in Monterrey, MX and raised in Dallas [Irving], TX. Growing up in Irving TX thru hard times and struggles. MastaRachi learned that in order to survive he had to become a man at a real young age. At age 14, MastaRachi had to find a job or some form of way to make money to help his family thru their struggle and still find time for his studies. Up until the age of 17 MastaRachi had experienced the life of a working man. From working in restaurants to hustling in the streets, MastaRachi had to make his money any which way possible. At the age of 18 MastaRachi faced his turning point in life. A very tragic moment for his family and friends. MastaRachi took a bullet to his neck which sent him straight to the Itensive Care Unit [ICU] in the Emergency Room. The bullet had pierced his trachea, traveled down thru his body and bruised his lung before the bullet exited. The doctor later announced that his vocal chords were paralyzed and he might not be able to speak again. After 2 months spent in the hospital and rehabilitation MastaRachi accomplished the impossible. Thru rehab and therapy to the vocal chords MastaRachi was blessed with the abilty to speak again. This was his motivation to become part of the music industry. He felt that God had given him this blessing and felt that he needed to do something with it. Two years later he stepped in the booth for his first time. Thru the obstacles and issues a musician deals with in their everyday life, MastaRachi has succeeded and is looking forward to his Major deal.
