About Me

Jono Grant is 1/3 of the world's leading dance trio Above & Beyond. Born and raised in the UK, Jono was classically trained on the piano, though he ended up spending more time composing his own music than practicing! After years of dedication to learning music production in the tiniest of bedroom studios, Jono met Paavo Siljamaki at University whilst studying Music Business & Production. They discovered they shared a common interest in electronic dance music. Together Jono & Paavo decided to establish a record label for their productions - Anjunabeats, perhaps the world's most respected label of its kind to this day for its consistent attention to quality. Jono & Paavo soon hooked up with Tony McGuinness and established Above & Beyond. As well as being recognised as one of the most innovative and influential producers of today, Above & Beyond are amongst the world's top 20 DJs, called upon by Madonna, Britney Spears & Dido for their floor-filling remixes.
The trio have enjoyed top 20 hits as under the names OceanLab and Dirt Devils. Jono has also collaborated with Darren Tate, Mike Koglin, producing hits such as "Let the Light Shine In" and "Circuits".
