Until recently, I always thought that someday my life would lead to the culmination of all my thoughts and experiences. I expected that the angel Gabriel, or maybe Ganesha, or Quon Yin would pop out and say "Congratulations! You figured this whole life thing out." It turns out, things probably aren't going to happen that way. So recently I have been trying to focus more on the finer points in life like riding down hills, crocheting obsessively, and rolling around in my books while remarking to myself how smart I am.But I still am looking around each corner hoping to find the tip of a wing, or a white trunk, or rushing water and the smell of confetti in the air.
